Tough game tonight. Playoff like in the RBC I think. The Carolina Hurricanes have won 2 against the “best team in hockey” I think they make it 3 tonight.

Let me just say it: We all hate hearing the Canadian Anthem at games. Do we still have to sit thru that pile? I have to say I haven’t gotten to a game early enough against a canadian team to notice. It usually isn’t long before the old Canada Sucks!…. Canada Sucks! Chants are heard in the RBC Center. I can’t wait to join in the fun! Do we all hate Canada? Not really but its great fun to shout that at the canadian team and have the canadian fans get all pissed off. Beating them again will be all the better. 
The Senators,pictured here marching into town like they own it, have another lesson coming on how to lose.

I did predict a Hurricanes Win I was wrong about that… however I also predicted a big night for Justin Williams and I was dead on with that. 2 goals is not a bad night.
I layed off a bit, I was getting some feedback that maybe I was being a little overly aggressive with trash talking the other teams.
Time to get back to work.

After the disappointing loss to the Rangers 4-3 which can only be blamed on injuries… and it was still a good game.
Tonight 3-2 over the Defending Cup Champs.
Eric Staal will continue his scoring streak with 1 goal and 2 assists.
I think Justin Williams is also going to light it up tonight.

THe Hurricanes are piling up injuries but still have the players to beat a the rangers.
The Rangers fans are rabid and I expect they will be pumped to get their team going.
The Canes will deflate the crowd by the end of the 2nd Period when they are winning 3-1.
I expect to be enjoying a nice afternoon of watching the Hurricanes Stomp the Rangers.

Apparently I pissed someone off at the Rangers Website.. I was not inflamatory at all, I simply stated that I thought there was not a chance of the Rangers Beating the Hurricanes, and Predicted a Score of 5-2 (Carolina Win of Course)
I also predicted Jagr being a non factor… I was right on both accounts… well off by one goal for the rangers. Here are some screen shots from their message boards.

Adams nets a Hat Trick and leads Carolina to Victory over the Rangers tonight. Staal started the scoring off with a shot from close to the blue line.
The Rangers get a lucky goal to end the period.
Adams scores 3 more and Justin Williams adds a Shorthanded Goal Late in the 3rd to make it 5 for the Canes. Williams is just starting to rev up for the season.
