Carolina Hurricanes Add Weight to the Team Today

Posted by admin in Carolina Hurricanes Commentary

The Carolina Hurricanes acquired Doug Weight for Zigomanis, and Boulerice…And some other picks etc…

I am very happy with this deal, Weight is a 4 time all star and waived his no trade clause to come to Carolina because he believes The Hurricanes offer him the best chance to win a Stanley Cup…. Now that is a sign of the new.

A good friend of mine is St. Louis Blues Fan.. He is happy to be watching Weight here but disappointed that his St. Louis Blues are losing him…

Also I forgot to post about The 4-1 Victory over the Atlanta tracers Last game. The Hurricanes honor Francis by beating the Atlanta team.

Congrats to Rutherford for getting Doug Weight a great addition to the team.
This year he has 11 goals and 33 assists … On a team that did not offer him the scoring chances that the Hurricanes will…
I predict a big after Olympics Breakout for Him where he finishes much stronger even than he has started the year.

now the Cup.

Carolina Hurricanes Honor Ron Francis tonight

Posted by admin in Carolina Hurricanes Commentary

The Best Team in Hockey, Carolina Hurricanes are tonight honoring Ron Francis.

This a well deserved honor for an quality hockey player, and a quality person.

One thing I will never forget is Ron Francis during the playoffs against the NJ Devils, being hammered by Stevens,( you remember those days, man he was vicious) and the Canes were on a Power play and Ron Crawling to the bench clearly dazed but didnt want to stop play since the canes were on the attack. Now that is one tough team oriented guy.

The 4 time MVP of the Whalers, Now Hurricanes, was traded to Pittsburgh where he helped them to a couple Stanley Cups.

For Me Franics will be the original Hurricane, the one that really pumped some adrenalin into the fans here.

Thanks Ronnie for all you did for Hockey and the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Carolina Hurricanes have the league’s best record, and there’s nothing fluky about it. Niclas Wallin scored on a deflection 16 seconds into the third period and the streaking Hurricanes won for the 12th time in 13 games, pulling away for a 5-1 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers on Thursday night.

Erik Cole is hoping people won’t talk too much about his signature move on penalty shots. That’s not likely to happen. Cole beat Florida goalie Roberto Luongo with a nifty move in the shootout, leading the streaking Carolina Hurricanes to a 4-3 victory over the Panthers on Wednesday night. Cole scored with the same move he used to beat Washington goalie Olaf Kolzig on a penalty shot Saturday night.

Carolina Hurricanes 7 Montreal 3

Magnificent 7 Scoring to Crush Red white and blue pretenders.

I couldn’t have said it better you can take a look at well any of my predictions and see that I pretty much always predict a sweeping carolina hurricanes victory… Unfortuneatly this time work and family got in the way of me predicting this one and I missed my chance to get very close to predicting the actual Score… I mean if you just say the Carolina Hurricanes are going to win you have a very good chance of being right these days.

Justin Willinms, Erik Cole, Eric Staal, Andrew Ladd, Matt Cullen, Craig Adams and Bret Hedican are the 7.

Jose Theodore wow you have really sunk from the masterful performance during the playoff run to the stanley cup where you were amazing… I hope you get it back, cuz that is sure gone.
