Carolina Hurricanes Take 3-1 Lead in Stanley Cup Slow

A slow start, good 2nd period and excellent defensive, and special teams. Along with with some nice shooting by Stillman, and Recchi,, the passing from Staal (who everyone was saying was slumping… ? ) Count on the media to find some BS to focus on. Staal’s assist on Rechi’s goal was awesome. The Carolina Defense and Defensive Play by the offense players was incredible but not surprising considering how many penalties they killed against NJ, and Buffalo they had plenty of practice.

Go Canes!
Coming Soon to Raleigh!

Oh Lord Stanley, and what a sight it will be hung high and proud by the well deserving Carolina Hurricanes, but its not over yet, the Oilers are down but don’t count them out . Their offence is almost null and void, and the fans here are feeling time is running out, but the Oilers have never done it easy all season. It wont surprise me after game 5 the newspaper headlines may very well read “Oilers The Spoilers” That said win or lose come game 5, We are Enjoying the moment, fans on both sides of the boarder…
I hope Mike Commodore brings the cup back to Grand Forks Like Eddie Belfour did when the Dallas Stars won the Stanley Cup in 1999. I suppose the canadians are noting going to be happy that another team from the South won the Cup again.
One more game.
