Sorry been busy lately, updated posted a lot of the comments minus a few flames to the articles… many from Edmonton Fans… hey if you had to base a prediction on the last 2 games I’d have to say Oilers would win.. but this Carolina Hurricanes team has showed a TON of character all year tonight they WILL show up and Beat on the Oilers… Sorry Canada No Cup again for you.

A slow start, good 2nd period and excellent defensive, and special teams. Along with with some nice shooting by Stillman, and Recchi,, the passing from Staal (who everyone was saying was slumping… ? ) Count on the media to find some BS to focus on. Staal’s assist on Rechi’s goal was awesome. The Carolina Defense and Defensive Play by the offense players was incredible but not surprising considering how many penalties they killed against NJ, and Buffalo they had plenty of practice.

That “goal was BS” sorry but it was. He interfered with Ward, and official explanation of what happend on that goal is wrong. . he said he was pushed a little watch the video and and well he was pursued but definatley not pushed.

All in all the Hurricanes played pretty poorly last night, the Oilers came out hitting, this time legally, and took over the game. Sadly for them they still only won on a lucky and questionable goal.

A bad game for the Carolina Hurricanes but it proves again how much better the Hurricanes are than the Oilers,,,

The Hurricanes had an off night (except for Cam Ward) and the Oilers played their hearts out and still only BARELY won.

The Cup will be in Raleigh this year.

The oilers have lost Rolo for the series…. I don’t think this will be much of a series. The 7 game with Buffalo may have been the toughest of the playoffs.

I hate to see this for Roloson as he has had one hell of a playoff run, but of course I am happy the Canes are certain to win now. I am also glad it was one of THEIR team that initiated the whole injury.
